32 years ago, Jerri Blank dropped out of high school and ran away from home. She made a lot of friends ... did a lot of time in jail. She was a boozer, a user and a loser. Now she's been back at high school, trying to get her diploma. And though the faces may have changed, the hassles are just the same.

This school year, Jerri tries to regain her virginity and deal with issues of religion and sexual harassment, all while trying to graduate before she hits 50.
