A convenience store clerk, Melissa, and her paraplegic boyfriend, Richie are barely making ends meet when they find out they are having a baby. Genuinely excited, they are overjoyed until Melissa loses her job, and the motel where they are living at evicts them. They must now face the difficult choices about their lives and relationship.
